Chuck Anderson

Mental Health and Wellbeing Consultant, Presenter, Speaker

Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, has studied Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), holds a Diploma in Risk Management and is currently completing his Diploma in Positive Psychology. His 20-plus years of professional experience spans across multiple sectors and industries, both in Australia and overseas. Additionally, Chuck served seven years in the US Navy, spending his final tour (2004-2006) at the US Embassy in Canberra.

Chuck is passionate about health and wellbeing. He has designed and delivered work health and safety programs, as well as strategic-level mental health and wellbeing programs and initiatives for major organisations. Chuck believes it is imperative to transform organisational cultures to safe and accepting workplaces where mental health does not hold stigma. His work in organisations is delivered with authenticity, empathy, and compassion.

His experience and expertise are drawn from the fields of Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Flourishing and Happiness, Resilience, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Self-Compassion.

Chuck is a gifted presenter who uses his own experiences of past psychological challenge to engage audiences and promote positive change. Chuck presents workshops in wellbeing and resilience, stress management, psychological first aid, and mental health in the workplace. He also provides strategic advice and support for organisations that wish to build durable wellbeing and mental health programs.
