Pause to Breathe: Managing stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma

Chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma take a toll on all our body systems. Pause to Breathe is a rejuvenating and nourishing practice that aims to:

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms
  • Manage the impacts of trauma
  • Increase performance and productivity
  • Improve mental clarity
  • Balance body and mind
  • Boost overall energy and vitality

This supportive and guided practice will take you through a series of breathing practices to help calm mind and body. Pause to Breathe assists in regulating the nervous system and bringing the body back to better balance.

Pause to Breathe classes are held online using the Zoom platform. Practice in the privacy of your own home.

Your Pause to Breathe teacher is Justine Janssen – an experienced yoga, mindfulness, and meditation teacher, who is a qualified Pause Breathwork Facilitator. She takes a trauma -informed approach to her teaching to ensure that participants feel safe, secure, and respected.

How to prepare: wear comfortable clothing, make sure your space is quiet and private, dim the lights, have blankets and pillows to hand, ensure there is enough room to lie down, and log in to the session about five minutes before the start time.

Cost: $22.00 per person per class. A recording will be available for one week after the class.
